Amanda O'Gorman
Vet

Amanda qualified from Bristol University in 1999 and then worked in a mixed large animal practice in Somerset for a year before moving to the Liphook Equine Hospital to do an 18-month internship.

She was offered and accepted an ambulatory permanent position there. As well as working in some equine clinics in Dorset, she also worked at Donnington Grove Veterinary Hospital for 3 years before moving down to Dorset permanently.

Gibbs Marsh Equine was founded in August 2013 where it has continued to grow rapidly over the years.
Nigel Perrot
Farrier

Nigel grew up in the West Country and if it wasn’t for a wonderful man called Norman Crouch wouldn't be shoeing horses now and he also credits him for not only putting him on the road to becoming a farrier but for his love of there country side and crossing it on a horse too.
Nigel has been a farrier for more than 30 years and has been shoeing Felton horses for nearly as long too. He is the team farrier for the Irish Three-day Event Team and has been to three Olympics with them. When he’s not away you will always see his familiar van at Locketts on a Friday afternoon.

Stephen Byrne

Stephen Byrne trained at the European School Of Animal Osteopathy in Brighton, where he specialised in Equine and Canine Manual Therapy.
He uses a holistic approach.
Attention is not just centred on the joints and their associated soft tissues, but also blood supply, lymphatic drainage and nerve supply, in order to include all the factors affecting the success of healing and the function of the body as a whole.
